Based on the socio-demographic study, are analyzed aspects of changing family structure, dynamics of marriage and divorce, both nationally and at European level. Particular attention is paid to birth research, the analysis of changes in the transverse and longitudinal and extramarital birth. There is highlighted determinants of family and marriage transformation, it is realised comparative analyse of demographic policies in countries with low birth rates, are developed proposals related to family policies in Moldova.
